What is Scratch?

Scratch is a free and safe computer program made for children to learn how to create their own games, stories, and animations.

Instead of typing complicated code, kids build projects by snapping colorful blocks together like digital LEGO.

Scratch is used by schools around the world and is a fun way for children to learn creativity, problem-solving, and basic computer skills.

Who is this for?

This event is for:

  • Children who are interested in computers, games, or creative activities

  • Parents/guardians who want to understand what Scratch is

  • No technical knowledge is needed for kids or parents
